THE STORY OF BOSANA

Bosana is an area near Bergamo, Italy.

The Bosana Boot was originally made for endurance championships.
The Bosana Boot came about when a vet, friend of the producer, had a
very strong horse with tender feet. Every time it would enter an endurance
contest, it would pull up with foot problems.

That is how the boot was born. It took about a year or more to perfect the
boot, which was not easy. They went through many types of boots before
the final one came out.

The boot has been used and experimented with for two years on
Endurance horses at Bosana and has obtained excellent results:
A 1st place won by Edam (pure-bred Arab) in a two day ride (100+ 100 kms) at Badia Tedalda in Tuscany in October 1993. An 11th place in the 1994 world cup, km 160, a 2nd place at the 1995 national competition held in Gubbio, km 120 and a 1st place at the "Cavalcata Aleramica" in 1996, km 80+8+80 open, other good results were obtained at regional competitions.

The “BOSANA” boot differentiates itself from other boots on the market for
its unique characteristic: it is placed over an already shod hoof (no matter
what the material used in shoeing is) and remains in place thanks to the
mechanical support of any kind of shoeing.
